How To Train Your Dragon 2 Wrap Party

It’s been five years since dragons and Vikings joined forces to protect the island of Berk. In DreamWorks Animations’ new movie, How To Train Your Dragon 2, Hiccup, Toothless and the rest of the gang are plotting unmapped regions, challenging each other to dragon races and exploring new worlds. THE FIRM, formerly known as Samantha Sackler Productions, brought the Viking Era to Club Nokia on May 29th. Our inspiration for this party was pulled from the first scene where Hiccup enters the breathtaking Dragon Mountain Oasis. Using dark wood furniture, custom fabricated décor pieces and weathered props, we transformed the space into an immersive viking experience.The central focal piece suspended over the dance floor was a rotating dragon mobile made of various colored plexiglass pieces, which cast dragon patterns all around the room. Other custom elements included a wall of the various shields from the film, a Viking ship complete with a 12’h sail, Hiccup’s multilayered map, double sided
the icy exterior of the Dragon Mountain. Gorgeous wild flowers in moss and twine wrapped containers brightened the rugged surroundings of the Viking world we created. On the second floor THE FIRM team created a fire-y dragon’s lair, bringing in fur throws and pillows, gold and red textured linens and a set of Toothless’ bright green eyes, which overlooked the room from behind the bar.
