Night At The Museum: Secret of the Tomb
On December 11th, 20th Century Fox premiered the third and final installment of the Night at the Museum trilogy; Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb. Larry, played by Ben Stiller, spans the globe, uniting his son Nicky (Skyler Gisondo), Theodore Roosevelt (Robin Williams), Jedadiah (Owen Wilson) and all his other favorite characters while embarking on an epic journey to save the magic powers of The Tablet of Ahkenrah before it is gone forever.
The red carpet and screening were held at the historic Ziegfeld Theater in New York City. THE FIRM, formerly known as Samantha Sackler Productions, created a 108’ long red carpet showcasing the blue brick walls shown in the movie poster. As a surprise to all, nine costumed characters were invited to walk the red carpet with the film’s talent, dressed in the real costumes from the film. After the screening the festivities continued at the American Museum of Natural History where THE FIRM transformed the Akeley Hall of African Mammals and the Theodore Roosevelt Rotunda. The Barosaurus and Allosaurus dinosaurs acted as a central focal point as guests walked in. For this event we brought Designer8*’s Hayden Bar and used the brown suede Lux and Nailhead collections as seating vignettes for guests. Using the movie poster as an inspiration, we used browns, golds, and sapphire blue as accents throughout the party. The florals consisted of gorgeous white phalaenopsis orchids, hydrangeas and callas. Our nine “special guests” also joined the after party creating a great photo opportunity for guests.
