National Geographic helped kickoff the 2018 TCA’s with an epic rooftop event at the Waldorf Astoria in Beverly Hills designed and produced by THE FIRM. The event included a custom designed grand entrance highlighting the network’s popular shows; show stopping lighting design; Nat Geo Wild inspired florals and scenic foliage walls; beautiful lounge vignettes with custom branded pillows; energetic music; a photo moment that transported guests into a Yellowstone Live adventure; a custom scenic 3D rotating Mars exhibit; an immersive VR experience with full body painted performing artists resembling a lion and monarch butterfly; multiple interactive food stations and cocktails; a flair bartender emulating the 90’s tech era in conjunction with their series Valley of the Boom; and a Sharkfest themed pool area with beautiful light projection, floating oversized sharks and the socially viral 3D Shark Cake! The network was also celebrating its 18 primetime Emmy nominations! It truly was a magical and unforgettable evening under the stars.
