Lechter Bar Mitzvah Part 2 – Ceremony & Rooftop
The London Hotel in West Hollywood was a stunning location for the ceremony and not one, but two after parties! The ceremony was held on the third floor at Hampton Court, stylized after an English Rose Garden. The views of Hollywood and the delicate rose bushes created a flawless atmosphere for the occasion. Small succulents in glass orbs were hung from the archway leading into the courtyard which accented the stage with oversized Topiary balls. Guests were brought to tears as they watched this thirteen year old become a man.
After the beautiful ceremony, guests were escorted to the rooftop to continue the festivities. While the party was for the kids, by no means did it look like your ordinary kid party. An abundance of lasers and lights shot through the clouds and throughout the dance floor transforming the roof into a nightclub like you’ve never seen before – even the bar and side tables lit up to the beat of the music! With so much action of the roof, we wouldn’t have been surprised if passing planes were distracted by all the flashing lights. The space featured a unique handcrafted ice curtain giving the roof an edgy club feel. Designer8*’s Silver Jax collection complemented the silver and black modern tone we were aiming for. If the dance floor didn’t draw you in, there was a photo book, custom phone case station, air hockey and even DJ lessons where guests could learn to scratch their own songs.
Family and friends gathered round as they danced the Hora and lifted the Mitzvah boy. As the party was getting started, to the guests surprise, the music cut and the adults were escorted out to find their own unique party, leaving the kids to party in style.
Stay tuned to find out how we transformed the London ballroom into the adult’s party!
