Blended Premiere
In Warner Bros. newest summer film, Blended, single parents Jim (Adam Sandler) and Lauren (Drew Barrymore) go on a blind date that goes terribly wrong. After agreeing that they never want to see each other again, they find themselves and their children all stuck together in one suite at an African Safari resort. THE FIRM, formerly known as Samantha Sackler Productions, transformed the Tropicana Pool at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood into a tropical African oasis. An African choir welcomed guests into the party where we covered the existing pool and added beautiful lighting to the pool deck and surrounding palm trees in greens, ambers and purples. For this event, we brought in the Outdoor Eco Collection in Fern and Saffron from Designer8* to provide additional vignettes. Gorgeous Hanging Birds of Paradise, bright Makawiki Orchids and a variety of other tropical florals further complemented the African retreat feel. Adding to the ambience of the night, Hooter’s girls tray pass their famous Boneless Wings and Buffalo Shrimp just like on Jim and Lauren’s first date. Guests were also encouraged to enter the Massage Garden and let all their stress and worries disappear.
